How do you prepare for the unknown?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 27, 2008:
Having a trust and inner knowing that the Universe is delivering exactly what I need at the time.
Sometimes I do research but then my mind goes to the left side of my brain and I get caught up in the facts and figures. If I let go and trust what is meant to come is from a divine source much more aware and conscious than I am, then I know things will be as they should.
Before I walk into an unknowing situation, I say a prayer or mantra basically asking to be guided by the divine within, and given the language I need for others involved to understand, for me to share compassion and love, and to let things be as they are meant to be. I try to leave my ego at the door and remember it's not about me...it's about a higher purpose MUCH, MUCH bigger than me. (I may also have my Kabbalah "Certainty" card in my pocket to touch as a reminder or within eyesight to reaffirm, through the Hebrew letters, "all is right", mantra..."I have certainty".)
