This may sound weird to some, but I didn't want to come back here.  I was asked.  Some spirit that I trusted, pursued me, ('cause I was having a great time flying around with my friends and hanging out with my pets), and told me, they needed me down there to teach people how to love.  I remember crying and not wanting to go back.  (I've done some past life work, in prep for this one.)  Here I am, with my soul's mission to fly around and spread the LOVE.

That being said, I am on my biggest LOVING journey right now, collaborating, creating, developing and visioning an international organization for kids.  I live in a state that has the highest suicide, pregnancy and school dropout rates.  After gathering those stats for a grant I was writing, I realized my mission and vision were right in front of me…to share the love in a way that resonates with who I am AND design a loving petri-dish for kids, their parents (if appropriate), significant others, grandparents, mentors, friends and my community as a whole. 

My life, up to this point, has prepared me with lessons, given me tools, guided me to see and educated me.  The older I get the more I realize, I know nothing.  There is only a small smidgen of what I've learned that life is offering up to me. 

I've been with many kinds of children in my life: ADD/ADHD, autistic, mentally retarded/developmentally delayed, down's syndrome, juvenile delinquents, anorexic/bulimic, suicidal, sexually challenged and confused, homeless, runaway, throwaway, foster, abused, victims of incest, rape, cancer and aids, poor to upper class socioeconomically, angry, hurt, misunderstood, pained, searching…and forever changed.  In this journey, I have seen my role as a counselor, “therapist”, listener, provider, rescuer, care giver, healer, mother, empowerer and mentor.  I'm now on this stage called life, to provide a platform and allow others to take on those roles I've had in the past, because I feel compelled to do “this work” for children around the world.  My role now is that of a facilitator, continual listener, visionary, “make it happen”, leader.

It's no accident that I was diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar II, fortunately the hypo-mania rather than the deep lows, although I've experiences those.  I'm a shining archetype of BP IIB as Dr. Ronald Fieve so eloquently labeled.  I know the challenges and triumphs these quirk-isms have presented for me creatively journeying through this life.  In my heart and soul, I've always been a dancer which has given me my strong, positive self-esteem and the ability to share something that is uniquely me.  Dance has connected me to a pathway that I and some being somewhere, with amazing Divine Light, have choreographed together so I can live and be within my highest good, living my destiny for this lifetime.  I understand and can relate to children and teens trying to figure themselves out, their world and who they want to be in it.  I plan to be working with local schools and private psychologists and/or psychiatrists who specialize in working with children and youth, with their family's engagement and involvement or not.  Some aren't as fortunate to have parents who take time out of their lives to get clued-in, be quiet and listen.  Ideally, I'd like to work with children and youth whose families don't have the financial resources to provide arts collaborative retreats and workshops, with a final sharing for their parents, families and community.  I believe this stage will give kids a place to have found sanctuary, a place to explore their creative passions and discover their Light, what makes them glow and feel warm and fuzzy inside.

'My knowing' the result will be, kids who have discovered a passion and energy within, to go into the world, as whole as I can get them from passing through my life and those lives I have brought to intersect and propel theirs.

I believe if you educate a child, you educate their parents and you then educate a community, culminating in an “awareness education” for the planet.  We have a ripple effect with others, by our thoughts, our minds and our actions…that initiation helps heal the world.
